You can learn those tricks and tactics of the game using available facilities like either learning from masters or from online tutors and also you can learn from reading books and by watching the moves of the grandmaster during the tournaments and in clubs.

The following guidelines should be adopted to improve your game playing skill.
• You should not rush to make a moment since this type of movements will lead to a disaster. So you make the movements after taking your own time.
• Try to do castling as soon as possible. This will make your king to be in a very safe position. This will help you to make your move without any worries.
• The most common move in this game of chess is that pinning the opponent’s pieces. If you are a skilled player then you should be able to stop almost all pieces of your opponents. This will control the moves of your opponent and thereby makes a great chance to win the game.
• Make the powerful pieces to stand in front and not behind. This is most powerful strategy with which the opponent will lose their pieces when they tries to attack yours since it may seem to be open but it was covered. You should plan in such a way that your opponent could not be able to find your plan.

The last trick is that you should make your opponent to lose their piece of higher value to your piece of lower value. All these are the best chess strategies which are capable of increasing your chance of winning.
